Lantana Ranch Tour and Conservation Easement Workshop
October 15, 2010

We spent the morning touring part of Lantana Ridge Ranch, which was placed under a conservation easement in 2009. The tour was followed by an afternoon workshop on conservation easements, and a review of Ducks Unlimited and USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service programs also held at the Lantana Ridge Ranch.

Williams Ranch Tour
February 2010

In late fall of 2008 Dr. Williams placed more than 2.5 miles of pristine Guadalupe River frontage in a conservation easement with the GBR Trust. This easement will protect his land in perpetuity. "Even if my heirs sell it, it still goes with the land," Williams said. "Very few people get a chance to do some unselfish thing that carries on through the years."
