Guadalupe-Blanco River Trust Preservation Matters

What's New!

GBRT Expands Conservation Portfolio in the Lower Basin
The Guadalupe Blanco River Trust is pleased to partner with the USFWS and TPWD to support a new conservation easement in Refugio County. "We are most appreciative to GBRT for providing the opportunity to designate 73.7 acres of our land as a conservation easement and whooping crane habitat in perpetuity. We are proud to preserve and protect the Guadalupe River Basin, " Jack Darden, Jr.

The Farm Bill has EXPIRED. This means that conservation programs like the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program that protect farmland for future generations cannot continue until Congress passes a new bill. Contact your U.S. House Rep: (202) 224-3121 to say "Pass The Farm Bill".

Congress must ACT NOW to reauthorize LWCF - AND guarantee its funding. Contact your U.S. House Rep & urge them to reauthorize with full, dedicated funding to protect America's best parks and wildlife recreation program.
